IIT Placements 2022: IIT Bombay, Madras, Delhi and others record high number of job offers for Class of 2022

From international brands to startups, companies of varying sizes offered jobs to the students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in the academic year 2021-22. The premier institution has set a new record as its students received 1,199 job offers from 380 companies during Phases I and II of campus placements for 2021-22.
IIT Madras saw 80% of students who opted for campus placements during 2021-22 receiving job offers, compared with 61% the year before.
இதேபோல் ஐஐடி மெட்ராஸ் அதிகபட்சமாக 231 வேலை வாய்ப்புகளை தனது மாணவர்களுக்கு பெற்று கொடுத்து ஐஐடிகளின் பட்டியலில் முதல் இடத்தில் உள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து ஐஐடி பேராசிரியர்கள் கூறுகையில், ‘வேலை வாய்ப்பு பருவத்தின் முடிவில், ஐஐடி-பி எப்போதும் இல்லாத அதிகபட்ச எண்ணிக்கையை எட்டியுள்ளது. அதாவது 1,431 மாணவர்கள் வேலைவாய்ப்பு பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

Despite multi-crore salary offers for a select few at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), there are some 10-20% of students who fail to land campus offers at the elite tech schools. The number of students who did not get campus offers increased due to the nationwide lockdowns in 2020.
